Greenwich Connecticut has some of the best facilities in Parks and Recreation in the country including four beaches on Long Island Sound including Greenwich Point, Byram Beach, Island Beach and Great Captain Island. Greenwich Point is on a peninsula and includes picnic areas, a beach and small marina. The town also has eight country clubs with golf courses and over 25 Parks & Playgrounds.
