Thing 15 -Pretend you are rich
For as long as I can remember I have had an eye on Miller Motorcars. Maybe it's a guy thing, but this has got to be the best window shopping establishment in the northeast. Ladies, have fun on Greenwich Avenue, I'll stand on the post road and stare at the cars. I'll never forget the first time my father took me there to check out the cars. He was never going to buy one, but just liked looking at them and probably thought it was a good motivator for me to work hard at school and make some coin. Miller almost a museum, as they have a buffet of Italian sports cars in every corner from every decade. One weekend, while showing off the toy store to a friend from out of town (back when I was a snot-nosed teenager), I asked the salesperson what it would take to test-drive one of their Ferraris. Only in Greenwich (a town where teenagers do buy Ferraris) would the salesperson (in an Armani suit) take me (in flip flops) seriously and respond with "the honest intention on actually purchasing one".
Well, I honestly intend on purchasing a Ferrari, though it might not be for several decades (or lifetimes for that matter). For now, I'll enjoy the cars as an observer.
