THING 35 - Too early for Christmas in Greenwich?

Is it too early to celebrate Christmas? My mother always used to say that we couldn't talk about our birthdays until it was within a month of the date.  In that case, we have a couple days until we can talk about the fat man coming down the chimney. I guess that since everyone now celebrates the "holidays" as opposed to a specific holiday we are within a month of the December celebrations.  What is a holiday tree anyways?

Ok, enough of my grumpy old man, it's time to celebrate. Today is the second and last day of the Junior League's Enchanted Forest.  This holiday fundraiser is a blast. The two day event features tons of decorative trees, wreaths and gingerbread houses you can bid on or buy.  There are also lots of children's events and photo time with Santa. "I want a hamburger. No, cheeseburger. I want a hot dog. I want a milkshake. I want potato chips."
