Yeah, that's a horrible tagline I came up with, but hopefully you'll remember the store (WineWise). If you are looking for white zinfandel (booooo) or something in a box (yeahhhh) this isn't your place. WineWise is a boutique wine shop focused on small production wines that you'll have a hard time finding elsewhere. They do not deal high-volume, discount store wine. The store is great and has a constantly changing selection of wines from all around the globe. To those of us who might need some help picking out bottles or want to try out something new, I couldn't recommend WineWise more. They host many tastings and pride themselves on making wine buying fun and easy going. The store is owned by Christopher Kull, who has over 30 years of experience dealing with international luxury products, and managed by his daughter Joy Kull (pic). Joy attended the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell focusing on Beverage Management. Unlike those of us who focused on Beverage Consumption in college, Joy went to college with a purpose. She is extremely well prepared to help you with your wine selection. Their store is located at 122E Putnam Ave (right next to Whole Foods and that god forsaken parking lot) and has a personal parking lot off Milbank Ave (thank the lord). You can also park right in front of the store. Pay attention to their billboard in the Whole Foods parking lot as they constantly have deals for Whole Foods shoppers (after those bills any help is appreciated).I wish them the best of luck and congratulate them on their new sexy looking webpage: http://www.winewisegreenwich.com/
