THING 73 - Greenwich Civic Center ROLLER SKATING!

For those of you who don't have to work (like me, arg..) this sounds hilarious and fun:"The Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center will be transformed into a roller skating rink Wednesday, Dec. 29, for the Department of Parks and Recreation's Roller Skating Party. Sherry Kline runs the program at the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center and will be bringing it to Western Greenwich Civic Center, 449 Pemberwick Road.Children in kindergarten through sixth grade can grab a pair of roller skates or rollerblades and take part from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Parents of participating kids may also try the skating. The cost is $5, which includes skate rental if needed. Children and adults are welcome to bring their own skates or rollerblades. The event will also include games and contests. The snow date is Thursday, Dec. 30.Tickets are available at the BWCC or download a form from the website. For more information, call 203-532-1259."
