Django Reinhardt's 100
th birthday at the Greenwich Library on Sunday.Vignola, a major proponent of Reinhardt's style of playing, has performed and recorded with Ringo Starr, Madonna and Donald Fagen and has been touted as one of Les Paul's favorite guitarists. In his library appearance, Vignola will revisit the music of Reinhardt more than 50 years after his death.Born into a family of Romani gypsies, Reinhardt created his own style of traditional gypsy music infused with jazz.
