We joke about how cold it is, but in all seriousness if you are having issues with your heat swing by one of the newly set up Greenwich Warming Centers.  So far the town has said that there have been no reported problems, though they want to be prepared.  It is freaking freezing outside.Greenwich Warming Centers* All Greenwich libraries on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday during normal library hours.* Greenwich Library, 101 W. Putnam Ave. Sunday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.; weekdays: 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.* Byram Shubert Library, 21  Mead Ave.  Open during normal weekday hours: Monday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.* Cos Cob Library, 5 Sinawoy Road. Open during normal weekday hours: noon - 8 p.m.* Perrot Memorial Library, 90 Sound Beach Ave. Sunday 1 - 5 p.m.; weekday: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.* Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center, 449 Pemberwick Road. Sunday: Noon - 5 p.m.; Weekday hours: 9 a.m. - 10 p.m.* Greenwich Police Department, 11 Bruce Place.
