That dream came into existence with the signing of Public Law 88-449 on August 19, 1964, which, by an act of Congress, created the National Tropical Botanical Garden. Today, with five gardens and five preserves and programs that reach around the world, the NTBG is that dream fulfilled.The lecture is free to Museum members and students with id.
