THING 25 - Go to an event I won't be at
I'm not going to make up some junk about how excited I am for the grand opening of Kimara tonight (from 6 to 8pm at the new store -88 Greenwich Avenue). I'm really not that interested. My wife does her own makeup shopping and I, as a manly-man (see THING 24), don't use makeup. That all being
THING 24 - Get a Shot - voluntarily
I hate shots. I know this might come as a surprise for you since I am such a manly man, but I really do hate shots. I don't know why I can't stand them so much, they really don't hurt, but I can't. I could do without asparagus and shots. Regardless of my interest in sticking a needle into my arm, I
THING 23 - Drink Down Your Daily Fruit
At $7 a drink I'm not sure how long my finances can handle daily smoothies, but they taste so freaking good. I guess this addiction is better than Starbucks coffee. Now I just need to figure out how to make them at home.
With 139 Locations so far this Manhattan Beach, CA store has caught onto
Sometime after I stopped getting an allowance I worked for a wonderful store in Greenwich called Consign It (I'm hoping you can figure out what they do...). My job was simple - I was a mover. I moved lamps, I moved tables, I move jewelry, I moved rugs. I was part of an elite special ops white gloved moving crew.
Today is a big day; not only do we gain an extra hour (THING 21.1 - Set Your Watches Back), but there is an extremely exciting event going on in Greenwich. I'm sure you all have heard about it, since it started yesterday, but for those of you who have been living under a rock you can..(wait for
THING 20 - See an accomplished Greenwich native perform. (Rob Mathes)
I thought this might be a neat event to attend tonight. Rob Mathes, born in Old Greenwich, is an accomplished record producer and Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE composer. It should be a wonderful show.
" Back by popular demand, an encore performance of
THING 19 - Bar Pie and Shuffle Board
There are few things in life more satisfying than a bar pie at BPG (Bruce Park Grill). Think microwavable pizza cooked in a vat of oil - simply beautiful. You're all probably thinking I'm a sucker for bad-for-you-food, and I am, but I promise to bring up some healthy edibles soon. I am starting to
THING 18 - Play Some Fall Ball
Being able to play at The Griff (Griffith E Harris Golf Course - next to the Westchester Airport) is one of the best parts to being a Greenwich resident. I'm not going to say it's the greatest golf course out there, nor is it the easiest to get to, nor is it the least expensive; though when you put all of
THING 17 - Take out the Trash - I'm not kidding, this place is awesome.
Living in Greenwich, CT has many many perks, but one that is commonly overlooked is, yes, access to The Holly Hill Facility (aka. Dump). Maybe I'm getting old and boring, but this is one of my favorite locations/things-to-do in Greenwich. Seriously, the Greenwich
